PlayBowl 2026 is an online tournament open to three regions: North America (United States and Canada), Europe, and Latin America. Other regions are not eligible this season. Qualifiers and group stage are region-locked; grand finals run cross-regional. Region is verified at registration — if you enter from outside the eligible regions and we detect it at any stage, you'll be automatically disqualified and any XP spent on entry is forfeit. No appeals on region eligibility.

No. PlayBowl entry runs on XP — not money. Every interaction you make on SharePlay (streaming, watching, chatting, following, gifting subs, SuperPlays, or PlayCoins) banks XP on your profile. When registration opens, your XP is what claims your spot in the qualifiers. There is no cash buy-in on the bracket — your activity is your ticket. Exact XP requirements are still being finalized and will be announced closer to the date, so the move right now is simple: start stacking XP today.

Not directly — and it doesn't need to. Everyone enters PlayBowl through XP, Play+ subscriber or not. What Play+ does is stack an XP multiplier on top of your regular activity, so every hour streamed, every stream watched, every gift sent banks XP faster. Play+ is an accelerator, not a shortcut and not a seat. You can stack a full XP pile through regular engagement with no subscription at all — most of the bracket will. Play+ just gets you there quicker.

Going live and gifting to creators are among the strongest XP sources. Watch time stacks steadily in the background. Chat presence, follows, and likes are smaller per-action but compound fast if you're active across multiple channels. A Play+ subscription multiplies all of it. Your XP balance lives on your SharePlay profile — start now; the earlier you stack, the bigger the pile.

PlayBowl is 18+ only. SharePlay's audience targets adults and we're maintaining that requirement across qualifiers, group stage, and finals — no exceptions. Age and identity verification happen at registration before any XP is spent.

Both games run duos this cycle — Apex Legends and Fortnite. Solo entrants are auto-matched into a duo with another solo. If you'd rather solo-queue without auto-matching, you'll join the open lobby that decides seeding before bracket placement. Either route lands you on the bracket.

PlayBowl 2026 broadcasts exclusively on SharePlay — primary feed on the LivePlay channel, with multi-cast coverage on Playzone and Channel 3 for alternate angles and commentary tracks. The tournaments page goes live at shareplay.tv/tournaments closer to the date. EchoSync is active across all PlayBowl content, so any restream, rebroadcast, or co-stream requires a licensing agreement from SharePlay.
